Welcome Message from the Pastor
Welcome to the website of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Oklahoma City. We are a family church that has ministered to our Northwest neighborhood, and
now at N.W. 36th and N. Indiana, since 1934. As Christians, we affirm that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, His own Word and truth, without error
(2 Timothy 3:16-17). We know that we are saved by faith alone in Jesus Christ as a free gift from God (Ephesians 2:8).
We know that God continues to grant us forgiveness through our baptism (Acts 2:38) and through our Holy Communion with Him (Mat. 26:26-28).
If you are interested, then join us in person (or online at our YouTube site, Immanuel Lutheran Church OKC) as we worship God on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m.
and hear of His promises.
As we say that the Bible is God’s Holy Word, we also see that the Ten Commandments are the Law of God (Exodus 20:1-17), and are used to guide,
direct, and lead us.
There is only one true God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; that are three distinct persons in one divine being (Matthew 28:19).
God the Father is the maker of heaven and earth, all things visible and invisible, and has created us and all creatures (Genesis 1:1).
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, Who was born of the Virgin Mary, and that He suffered and died upon the cross for the sins of all mankind but that He
rose again from the grave on the third day and offers forgiveness of sins and life eternal to all who believe in Him. (Matthew 1:21;
John 4:42; Acts 4:12). By His death we know all of our sins have been paid for and, by His resurrection, we are confident of life eternal with Him after death.
The Holy Spirit calls us to faith and enlightens us in the Word.
In a world of confusion and uncertainty, we offer the promises and the certainty of God’s Own Word, and the Good News of life eternal.
As Pastor of this congregation since 1998, I invite you to visit and become a part of our congregation. May God guide you in your journey through this life.
